This single family home sat vacant for close to 15 years. The owners had no desire to sell to developers so it was donated to a local non profit.
It is now the future home of the Robert L. Moore Disciple House, a faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry providing a temporary home environment for men recently released from the Rockdale County jail.
Disciple House is a housing program from which participants can graduate to stable, permanent housing within 12 to 24 months. Residents will actively participate in a comprehensive, holistic, curriculum-based program, and community based education for improving life skills.
